What is being done?

The existing freight elevator is undergoing a comprehensive modernization as part of the P073-20-026 Lash Miller Expansion Project. This includes upgrading the elevator's mechanical and electrical systems to meet current safety standards and improve efficiency. The modernization will enhance the elevator's reliability, speed, and capacity, ensuring it can better serve the building's needs. Once complete, the upgraded elevator will significantly improve the transportation of goods within the building, reducing wait times, increasing operational efficiency, and providing a safer and more reliable service for all users. We anticipate that the work will be completed, and the elevator will be back in working order on November 12, 2025.
