Gerstein Science Information Centre: Limited access to entrance due to construction

Last update: Sept 7, 2021

Due to ongoing construction on King’s College Circle, vehicle access to the Gerstein Science Information Centre is currently blocked (when coming from University College/Hart House Circle).

Pedestrians can still enter via:

  • Queen’s Park Cres W to King’s College Circle (enter via Anatomy Lane, just south of main library entrance and between Gerstein and McMurrich Building/MacLeod Auditorium)
  • King’s College Road to King’s College Circle (enter via College Street)
  • Hart House Circle to King’s College Circle (enter via Wellesley Street W.)

Accessible drop-off spot:

For visitors using Wheel-Trans and vehicles with accessible parking permits, the usual drop-off spot has been relocated to a new location. Road access to the new drop-off spot and barrier-free parking are only open to these accessible vehicles via King’s College Road (from the South side) or via Hart House Circle (from the North side):

  • King’s College Circle (just north of main library entrance at the corner of King’s College Circle and Hart House Circle)

Note: If coming from King’s College Road, drivers will need to wave down security to gain access.
